1. Who We Are

A trusted partner that walks alongside the world's leading technology brands to deliver audio-visual and smart-control solutions that are listened to, designed and deployed for each specific need.

Bá Hùng Technology is a Vietnamese Pro AV and smart building integrator, founded in 2003 and based in Ho Chi Minh City. We design, build and look after the systems that let people hear clearly, see clearly and run their buildings with confidence: conference halls, government chambers, hospitals, universities, corporate headquarters and premium hospitality.

We are a solution architecture firm. A project starts with what the space has to do and what must never fail in it. Equipment comes later, chosen to fit that design (see our solution architecture thinking, in Vietnamese). This is why more than seventy-five manufacturers trust us with their technology in Vietnam, and why owners keep calling us back.

Five roles, one accountable partner

Most suppliers in Vietnam cover one or two of these. We take all five, so there is no hand-off where responsibility can slip:

  • Solution architecture consulting, from the first sketch
  • Equipment supply, sourced directly from the manufacturer
  • Technical integration, commissioning and staff training
  • Long-term warranty and planned maintenance
  • Rapid incident response, built on incident scenarios written before handover

Where our bench is deepest

Twenty-three years of field work did not spread evenly. Our strongest teams sit in professional sound, conferencing and electronic voting, Pro AV and visual systems, public address and voice evacuation, power filtering and surge protection, and stage lighting. Smart building and smart home control, architectural lighting, indoor air quality, network infrastructure and physical security are growing practices, built on the same engineering core. We would rather tell a partner this plainly than claim equal depth everywhere.

2. Solution Architect vs. Box-Mover

Take two projects in the same building. Same room type, nearly the same equipment list, two different contractors. On opening day both systems work: lights on, sound out, picture on screen. Nobody walking in could tell them apart.

By year three they have gone different ways, and by year five the gap is obvious. The equipment did not cause it. The people who built the systems did.

The box-mover

A box-mover follows a tidy logic: equipment list, unit price, contract. Deliver what is on the list, make it run, pass acceptance, invoice. For them the project ends at handover, and they have done exactly what was asked.

But an equipment list is not a system. Nobody asked what the room really needs, how it will be operated over five years, what will fail first, or who will be there when it does. When one weak link fails and takes the chain with it, the contractor is already on another job. The owner is left holding a system nobody owns, and an operating cost they never knew they had bought.

The solution architect

A solution architect starts from the problem. What is this space for, who uses it, in what situations, and what can never go wrong here? What do this building, this climate and these operating habits demand? Only then does equipment enter, as material for a design.

The bigger difference is time. We design for the full life of the system, plan for what will wear out, prepare maintenance, and stay after handover. When something fails, the people who answer the phone are the people who drew the system.

Why it never shows on the quotation

Both sides can quote nearly the same figure: same line items, numbers close enough that the lower one looks like the smart buy. How a contractor asks questions, how deep the calculation goes, whether they will stay: none of it has a box on the quotation form. It shows up later, in year three or year five, when the choice can no longer be undone.

Same equipment, two kinds of people, two outcomes. What decides the result is who decides where each device goes, and who stays with it.

Next time three quotations look alike, the useful question is which one sells you a list and which one designs you a system that will still run well in five years. For a manufacturer choosing who to trust with its name in a new market, the same question shows which side of the line Bá Hùng stands on.

3. Direct Partnerships with G7 and European Manufacturers

Before we talk about equipment, we talk about origin.

Anyone can quote a brand name. Fewer can show a direct line to the factory behind it. We work directly with more than seventy-five manufacturers, most of them from G7 countries and the EU (our direct partnerships, in Vietnamese). That relationship is what secures genuine technical support, a valid warranty, verified origin, and engineering knowledge that never appears on a datasheet.

A shift in the Vietnamese market

A growing share of the public sector, security and premium projects we bid on now specify equipment of G7 or EU origin, backed by a certificate of origin, and some exclude Chinese-made equipment outright. For a manufacturer with real engineering and documented provenance, this opens doors that price alone never could. It still takes a local partner who can write the product into the project at drawing stage, defend it through approval, and support it for years afterwards.

What a manufacturer can expect from us

  • Specification at design stage. We are often brought in by design consultants and architects while drawings and cost estimates are still being prepared, which is where a brand gets written into a project.
  • Engineering, not only sales. Our team designs, commissions and maintains, so your product is installed the way you intended and still performing years later.
  • Brand protection on the ground. A system that fails reflects on every brand inside it. Lifecycle service keeps your name clean in projects your own staff will never visit.

What we look for in return

  • Project protection, so the integrator who designs a brand into a project is the one who supplies it
  • A discreet, project-led channel, without broadly published retail pricing that undercuts specified projects
  • Reliable supply, including small quantities, so a product written into a design can always be delivered
  • Engineering access: training, documentation and a technical contact who answers
  • Continuity. We spend years building a brand's reputation here, and we look for manufacturers who value that

Where our partner manufacturers come from

  • Sound and loudspeakers: the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States and Japan
  • Video, signal and collaboration: the United States, Canada, Germany and Spain
  • Control and workspace: Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic
  • Lighting and power: Austria, Finland, Germany and the United States

We share the names of specific manufacturers directly with partners and clients, case by case.

4. Featured Projects, Proof of Execution

We would rather show projects than adjectives, especially the ones delivered when delivery was hardest.

Since 2003 we have completed 500+ projects across 30+ provinces, for government bodies, hospitals, universities and corporations (selected projects, in Vietnamese). Client names stay private. The work speaks:

  • A 57-day microphone installation finished three days early. We spent those three days on extra quality checks before handover.
  • An 85-delegate conference system produced a clean electronic voting record through a high-stakes session, with no technical failure.
  • During Saigon's July 2021 COVID-19 lockdown, we completed a critical installation within 12 hours, in conditions that stopped most teams.
  • A 1,150-seat auditorium retrofit met the brief despite heavy constraints inherited from the existing structure.
  • For a 400-seat hospital auditorium we specified professional-grade components over cheaper alternatives and designed suspended sub-bass to fit an unforgiving room.
  • In one conference hall we held stable microphone pickup at 120 cm from the talker, where conference microphones are normally set up for 20 to 40 cm.

Why 120 cm matters

Distance is expensive in acoustics. Under the inverse square law, moving a talker from 20 cm to 160 cm away from a microphone costs about 18 dB, the same as 64 times less acoustic power arriving at the capsule. Recovering that without feedback takes acoustics, loudspeaker directivity, signal processing and calibration engineered as one system. Our multi-layer anti-feedback approach has a technical ceiling of 160 cm, reachable only in a large hall with a high ceiling and properly treated acoustics. It is a limit, not a default setting. In an ordinary meeting room the same engineering still leaves a far wider safety margin against howl than a standard installation.

What links these projects is anticipation: solving the problem before it appears, and refusing to hand over anything we would not stand behind years later.

5. Certified Credibility

Credibility is not declared. It is accumulated, one project at a time.

ISO 9001, run as a working system

Bá Hùng has held ISO 9001 certification without a break since 2011: the 2008 edition from 2011 to 2017, the 2015 edition since then, independently audited throughout. For us it means documented procedures, real quality control and accountability that continues past handover. One measure: the audio systems at the Lâm Đồng Provincial Administrative Centre have run for more than ten years in high humidity without a major incident.

Eight government commendations

Between 2012 and 2021 we received eight official commendations from Vietnamese government bodies, each after a delivered project. Local unit names are given as they were at the time; several have since been merged under the 2025 administrative reform.

  • Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee (2021): technical excellence during the 11th Party Congress
  • Ha Tien Town (2012): support for an international diplomatic event between Vietnam and Cambodia
  • Long Ho District (2015): a 400-seat auditorium system
  • Lam Dong Department of Construction (2015): the provincial administrative centre, including individual recognition of our lead engineer
  • Lam Dong Culture and Sports Project Board (2012): a youth cultural centre delivered over two years, with full equipment and technology transfer
  • Vinh Long Department of Culture (2015): the memorial museum for scientist Tran Dai Nghia
  • Ben Tre Department of Culture (2021): recognition for community cultural contribution
  • Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (2021): technical support for the university's 40th anniversary

Over the years we have also received business awards: Trusted Brand, Top Brand, and Gold and Platinum recognitions between 2007 and 2016. We value them, but we value the audited ISO record and the commendations above more, because those came after the work was done (certified credibility, in Vietnamese).

6. How We Work With You

We join at concept stage, before the concrete is poured. A system planned with the building fits it; a system added afterwards fights it.

Five steps

  • Listening and analysis: what the space must achieve, and what must never fail in it
  • Solution architecture: the system designed as a whole before any single device is chosen
  • Detailed technical design: drawings, specifications, acoustic and infrastructure planning, realistic budgets
  • Integration and testing: built to the approved design, fully tested, staff trained at handover
  • Operation and maintenance: accountability across the full lifecycle, with incident scenarios prepared in advance

The full method is set out in our methodology (in Vietnamese).

Why early involvement changes the outcome

Most AV contractors arrive after the structure is finished and spend the project fighting it: poor acoustics, no cable routes, equipment squeezed into spaces never meant for it. The cost of fixing a technology mistake multiplies at each stage, from concept to schematic design, rough construction and fit-out. Technology packages are usually tendered at stage three or four, yet their value was decided at stages one and two. Joining early gives architects and owners a single technical contact and avoids the expensive surprises that only show after opening day.

For a manufacturer, that is what proper representation of your technology looks like. For an investor, FDI leader or hospitality operator, it means one partner accountable from the first sketch to the tenth year of operation.
